Bike Kingdom – Chur

The gateway to the largest mountain bike kingdom in Switzerland

Chur is the capital of Switzerland's largest mountain bike region. The cable car takes you directly from the city to the local mountain Brambrüesch - this is where the downhill & freeride action begins.

CHUR AS A STARTING POINT

Due to the low altitude (600 m above sea level), the biking season in Chur starts very early in the year and usually lasts into the winter. Chur is also a biking hub: with the main stations of the Rhaetian Railway and Postbus Graubünden, countless trails and tours tempt you as easily accessible day trips.

The DropIn Bike Shop is located right next to the valley station. Here you can rent and buy equipment. Or you can treat your downhill, freeride or enduro bike to a service. Maybe the attractive packages will inspire you. Rent a bike, get a day pass for the Alpenbikepark. Are you new here? The introductory courses will help you.

Chur is the oldest city in Switzerland and the capital of the canton of Graubünden. Discover the diversity of this Alpine town. 40,000 inhabitants live in the wide valley of the Alpine Rhine. With its central location, Chur is an ideal starting point. Many exploratory tours and excursions into nature start here.

The freeride routes are maintained by the Alpenbikepark Association. Please observe the rules of conduct and safety instructions. Use of the trails is at your own risk. The Bergbahnen Chur Dreibündenstein AG and the Alpenbikepark Association decline all liability.
